De Mattei Construction is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk. We build custom

homes (new and remodel) from San Francisco to Carmel. We are located on The Alameda in

San Jose, near the Central YMCA.

To be successful, you should:

Be computer literate (excel, word, outlook)

Be organized and able to help others organize their work

Enjoy working with very successful (but demanding) clients

Be able to multi-task and set own priorities

Be a self-starter and able to work with minimum structure and supervision

Be punctual and dependable and possess a valid Driver’s License

Familiarity with residential construction a plus

Be experienced in working in office environment

Possess basic accounting skills

Maintain the confidentiality of the information

As Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will:

Accounts Receivable:

Prepare, distribute, and collect bi-monthly client billing and bank draws

Copy, track and file client billings

Track and maintain client Change Order files

Collect Conditional and Unconditional Mechanics Lien Releases

Subcontractor/Vendor record setup, maintenance and insurances

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations


Track and assist with business licenses and permits

Vehicle files: purchases, sales, licenses and maintenance

Assist with property management

Prepare materials for weekly and monthly reviews by the CFO

Other tasks, as directed, including basic building and equipment maintenance and

receptionist duties
