Manager/Assistant Manager (Mountain View)
Dickey's Barbecue Pit is hiring Managers for our new Mountain View location.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is a Texas based franchise restaurant that is the fastest growing
quick-serve barbecue restaurant in the United States. We are known to be passionate
about the art of great barbecue! We are seeking an energetic, happy, self-motivated, and
growth oriented person that shares our passion about barbecue and providing great
customer service. The person must have experience working in a restaurant environment
and able to handle stress from the fast paced nature of the business.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
* Effectively manage a Dickey's restaurant within the policies and
guidelines of the company, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times.
* Work with other managers to control day-to-day operations by scheduling labor,
ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
* Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security
policies are met.
* Control profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining
inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
* Recruit, interview, and hire team members, conduct performance appraisals,
take disciplinary actions, motivate and train all employees.
* Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a
preventative maintenance program.
* Ensure consistent food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
* Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing programs.
* Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe
work behavior of the team.
* Facilitate catering orders and the success of catering sales growth.
* Build relationships with the community
* Uphold company standards
* Must be willing to work night, weekend, and holiday shift rotations.
* Must have a valid driver's license and able to drive a cargo van.
* Must be able to help lift heavy boxes.
* ServSafe certified a plus

* Strong problem-solving skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Strong experience in customer service
* Ability to multi-task and think fast
* Excellent written and oral communication
* Foster and build strong relationships within and outside organization
* Ability to lead and work within an ever-changing team dynamic
